Diego James Chairs was the founding owner of Diego’s Power Alley Gym. He was a true man in every sense of the word and had big dreams of wanting to be "somebody". As a little boy, his dream was to be a bodybuilder and own his own gym. He became a championship bodybuilder, rodeo rider, and boxer. He was also a principal actor in various television shows and commercials. He completed his dream when he opened Diego's Power Alley Gym in 1988.

The rest of his life was spent being a mentor, leader, role model and father-figure to so many. Diego's expertise and passion for his craft and his level of commitment to teaching people about health and wellness was constant. His genuine love and concern for others as well as his brutal honesty turned him into an Oakland legend.

Diego wanted his legacy to continue and set that desire in motion by marrying his soulmate, Michelle, who has shared his vision. She worked side by side with him for over twenty years. She continues his legacy providing exceptional training to her clients.
